This is a story that was born on the school desks: lead actor, a nineteen year old boy, just graduated, with great ideas in mind. We are at the beginning of the 80s, favorable times for entrepreneurial initiatives but difficult for those who, from nothing, want to equalize with already strong names on the market. Yet the birth of the “ScaperrottAuto” is destined to join the ranks of those names that have made the history of the automobile.

Alberto Scaperrotta, the youngest of four children, of a railway worker father, was born on 0825891690 in Ariano Irpino. And it is in Ariano Irpino, in a local basement in Via Martiri, received on loan from his father, that his great initiative comes to life. In 1983 he regularly enrolled in the Avellino Chamber of Commerce for the following activities: retail trade of lubricating oil, tires, auto parts, new and used cars, industrial vehicles and car customization.In fact, it is this last activity that is the potential of Alberto Scaperrotta, destined to be exalted in him, with a progressive expression, of a creative talent that is anything but common. In fact, he organizes a workshop where he has new cars customized, a fact much appreciated by customers and above all highly praised by famous body shops such as Moretti and Giannini Automobili in Rome, to which he turns to have the concession in the area of the prestigious cars, and he obtains it from the Roman house.

The business goes well, but Alberto Scaperrotta is not satisfied: so he begins to think that certain services in the automotive sector must be offered all at the same time, such as: insurance policies, life insurance policies and automotive assistance of all kinds. Therefore, he begins to organize public demonstrations where the various services offered by the Automobile Club of Italy are shown, trying, with this, to sensitize both the public and the sector managers.In fact, in 1986, the ACI executives, impressed by the many initiatives undertaken, entrusted him with the ACI Delegation for the handling of automotive practices. The fact also attracts the attention of SARA Assicurazioni which entrusts the SARA Insurance agency in Ariano Irpino to Alberto Scaperrotta and all this leads to a significant increase in sales and other stimuli in the mind.

Alberto Scaperrotta thus decides to transfer the headquarters of the company created in larger premises, of dimensions suitable for allowing the planned developments and, with great economic sacrifices, he faces the great leap that transforms the Alberto Scaperrotta company into ScaperrottAuto based in Via Cardito di Ariano Irpino. The distinctive brands of the company are redone, the entire staff is reviewed, the administration and payment of car taxes are computerized and the offices are furnished in a comfortable and elegant way as it has always been in the style of the owner who at the same time receives the appointment as Chief Agent of Sara Assicurazioni, becoming the youngest Chief Agent in Italy.

In the meantime, Giannini Automobili observes from afar and can only praise the effort that also aims at the best presentation of its commercial product and this is how, to reward Alberto Scaperrotta, it greatly increases its supplies and makes it an exclusivist for the entire province of Avellino. In addition, Giannini Automobili, given the sales volumes, celebrates the construction of car number "5,000" in the plants in Via Idrivore della Magliana in Rome and the sales manager gives the car keys to Alberto Scaperrotta, dealer since 1982 of the Giannini brand and gives a press review on the main newspapers in the sector. All this leads to the desire to advertise their own product and soon one of the most popular car covers, such as "Gente Motori", carries a large advertisement within the company.

It seems that the picture is complete, but Mr. Scaperrotta is not yet satisfied and is looking for even larger spaces where he can manage a large service center that rises around a large "American-style garage". And this is how in 1998 he created the Ipermarcato dell'Auto ACI, a company specialized in the orientation and purchase of the car and for all the related practices.In fact, thanks to two large structures, showrooms and offices, the ScaperrottAuto group is able to always be close to its customers and represents a reliable and qualified reference point for carrying out all the paperwork related to the car, avoiding unnecessary queues at costs. competitive (ACI Delegation of Ariano Irpino). The Ariano Irpino showroom is also flanked by a modern mechanical workshop and specialized sector technicians capable of satisfying any customer mobility need.

Today ScaperrottAuto is also the main sponsor of the Onlus Association “Guida la tua Vita”. The association is non-partisan, non-profit and carries out promotion, social utility and voluntary activities towards minors, young people and disadvantaged families, operating in the sectors of charity, social assistance, socio-health, training and promotion road safety, both in Italy and abroad. In addition, the association also aims to help people put in difficulty by Banks, Equitalia and in any case to listen to those who are not only listened to.
